The News app, which was announced on stage at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), looks a bit as if Facebook's Instant Articles and Flipboard made a baby. Participating publications such as New York Times, Wired and ESPN will be able to publish content directly to the platform. Publishers will be able to draw (and keep) revenue from ads in the new app. Although publishers will be able to sell ads in the new app, we didn’t see any on screen during Apple’s demo.The app looks strikingly similar to
